Browser games without signup or downloads

You can open LinkParty’s 2048, Minesweeper and Sudoku directly in a browser without an account or an app download. They are single-player games. Friend Match is the separate live room game for 2–8 people. Internet is needed to load the site; offline availability is not guaranteed.

These guides are in English. Friend Match has an English interface and 144 English questions. Solo game controls and legal pages are also in English.

These are free to play and the site contains advertisements. “No download” means you do not install an app: your browser still downloads page files and game code. JavaScript must be enabled for the interactive boards. No account does not mean no data processing; the privacy page explains the site and advertising services.

2048: a useful first five minutes

Open the board and move with the arrow keys or the on-screen arrows. On a phone, swipe across the board. Equal tiles merge once per move: a row of four 2s becomes two 4s, not one 8. A successful move adds another tile, so filling every empty space makes the next move harder.

Try keeping the largest tile near one corner and smaller tiles in descending order nearby. Before moving, ask whether the move opens space or breaks that order. Reaching 128 is a small practice goal, not a required level. The game continues after 2048 if legal moves remain. Refreshing resets the current board.

Minesweeper: reveal with a reason

The board has 9 × 9 squares and 10 mines. The first revealed square and its neighbors are protected. A number tells you how many mines touch that square, including diagonals.

If a revealed 1 has exactly one unopened neighbor, that neighbor must contain a mine. Mark it with a right-click, or enable Flag mode before tapping on mobile. Turn flag mode off before revealing more squares. If a 1 already touches a correctly identified mine, its other neighbors are safe. That deduction depends on the flag being correct. Reveal all 71 safe squares to win; flags alone do not complete the board. Some generated boards need a guess, and refreshing starts over.

Sudoku: enter, check and correct

Fill every row, column and 3 × 3 box with the digits 1–9 exactly once. Select an editable cell and type a digit; on phones use the numeric keyboard. The starting clues cannot be changed.

Look for a row missing one number and confirm that number also fits its column and box. Check entries marks incorrect values without solving the puzzle for you. Clear entries removes your answers but keeps the clues. New puzzle replaces the grid. Each generated puzzle has one solution, but the clue count is not a certified difficulty grade. Unfinished boards are not saved.

Mobile setup and saving limits

Use a current browser, keep the board visible and use its direction buttons if swiping scrolls the page. Avoid refreshing a game you want to finish. These solo boards do not sync between devices or offer an account-based save history. Do not assume an open tab will survive a phone restarting or clearing browser data.

For a shared game, use the browser games with friends guide. Opening two solo boards does not create a multiplayer room. Keep any score comparison informal: randomly generated boards are not identical challenges. If a board does not appear, check JavaScript and your connection; the written rules remain readable without JavaScript.
