How to play
Find every safe square without uncovering a mine. A revealed number counts mines in the eight surrounding squares. Use these clues together: one number alone may not be enough to determine where a mine is hidden.
- Reveal a square to begin. The first revealed square and its neighbors contain no mines.
- Right-click to flag on desktop, or turn on Flag mode before tapping on a phone.
- Uncover all 71 safe squares to win. Flags help you reason, but placing flags alone does not finish the board.
A useful strategy
If a 1 already touches one flagged mine that you are certain about, its other neighboring squares are safe. Be careful: an incorrect flag can make later deductions look convincing.
What to expect
Boards are randomly generated and may require a guess. The first-click protection is not a promise that every board is solvable by logic alone. Refreshing resets the game.
